Now, these are by no means tips for the Euros. They are however, some of the best picks for those of you that like to live a little on the wild side.
Olivier Giroud – Player of the Tournament – 50/1.
Giroud finished his season at Arsenal with his highest goal tally to date, 24 in 54 – and on top of that he managed 6 assists. In 2016 he has been in fine form with 4 in 4 for his national team & his aerial threat could boost both his goals & assists.
Albania to score the fastest goal – 50/1.
They’re right at the bottom of the pile for this market, and unsurprisingly so. They don’t have the hardest group in the tournament though – Switzerland, France & Romania and this is tournament football after all, so it’s certainly not too far fetched to think they could nab an early goal.
Poland to win Euro 2016 – 50/1.
You’d be expecting them to qualify from their group even with World Champions Germany in there. And with the on-fire Robert Lewandowski leading the line for them why not put a quid on them? Greece were 150/1 in 2004…
Gareth Bale – Top goalscorer – 50/1.
The man seems to turn into a Welsh Superman when he puts on his country’s shirt. He’ll be as fired up for this tournament as anyone & I think every man and his dog could see him bagging against England next week.
Luka Modric – Most Assists – 50/1.
Quite surprised to see Modric so far down on this market. The best odds for this market are Mezut Ozil at 12/1, Hazard at 14/1 & Griezmann at 16/1. Why not take a punt on an equally creative player playing in a group with Czech Republic, Turkey & Spain? You could really take your pick for who will qualify from Group D.
