At last! Finally! After a very dull and boring summer we are finally almost at the point where we can welcome football back after what seems like en eternity away. You know it has been a long summer when you have Sky Sports devoting an entire channel to the one and only sport of, er, Netball?! Still, I have to admit we did end up watching a few minutes!
We have sat down and gone through some of our thoughts on this year’s Premier League transfers, we look to the outright markets for some potential value and have come up with a few thoughts and hopefully winning tips. Although you will have to wait a while for the payout in the long term markets such as title winner and who gets relegated, but it does result in having something invested for the entire season.
The big title challenge last year went right to the wire, and we don’t see it being that close again. While Man City relied somewhat on a hot streak and a few crucial moments, such as Vincent Kompany’s long range winner, Liverpool were very consistent throughout the season. This time around, Liverpool haven’t been able to add much in the summer transfer window, while Man City have got rid of some deadwood, such as Delph, they will also miss the experience of Kompany. They have added Rodri and Cancelo at 120 Million, so should have enough to take them over the line in more convincing fashion this year, the worry would be their lack of firepower up front and if there are any major injuries to Aguero or Jesus.
