West Brom vs Burnley

Burnley travel to The Hawthorns in Super Sunday’s bottom of the table clash. Burnley are yet to win a single game since their return to the top flight, whilst West Brom recorded a surprise 1-0 away win at Spurs last time out.

It is clear Burnley are not faltering defensively, with only 4 goals being conceded in their opening 5 games – 3 of which came at the hands of title favourites Chelsea. And the Clarets have managed 3 clean sheets in a row, including a respectable 0-0 draw at home to Man Utd. Their failure to convert chances is apparent, just 1 goal in their opening 5 rings alarm bells for Sean Dyche’s team, goals are needed from somewhere if they are to remain a top flight side. The strike duo of Ings and Vokes,so prolific last season, has yet had the chance to flourish in the Prem, as both are currently sidelined with injuries.

West Brom will be hoping to make it 3 wins on the spin after beating Spurs last Sunday and Hull in the Capital One Cup midweek. It will be interesting to see if they can capitalise on a Burnley side that are struggling to find the back of the net. And although West Brom have conceded in every match they’ve played at home this season, Burnley have little attacking threat, and after keeping a clean sheet at White Hart Lane against the likes of Adebayor, Erikson and Lamela, I think WBA will repeat this on Sunday.

Expect a low scoring game on Sunday, with WBA just edging it in a tight affair.

Prediction: WBA 1-0 Burnley

The Pick – Take WBA -0.25 asian handicap – 1.73 – 8/11

Worth a flutter – WBA win and under 3.5 goals – 7/4
