Tips for 5th November – Champions League & Championship

Featured Tip:

Fulham vs Blackpool

Bottom of the league Blackpool travel to fellow strugglers Fulham in tonight’s 8pm Championship game.

Fulham have had a revival of form recently. After their opening 8 games they were without a victory and were firmly rooted to the bottom of the table. Since then, they have only lost once, winning 4 of their last 7 games and drawing 2. They are still in the relegation zone, although this won’t be for much longer if they continue this form. Taking Fulham’s resurgent form into consideration, 5 of the last 7 games have seen over 2.5 goals. They arguably have one of the best strikeforces in the league with the likes of McCormack, Rodallega and Ruiz, although their defensive record is a little more of a worry, with 8 goals conceded in their last 5 matches.

Blackpool on the other hand are struggling massively. They have just 1 win from their opening 15 games, scoring a measly 8 goals and conceding 24. The bookies have them at 1/10 to finish bottom, and they have probably stopped taking bets on them to go down. They haven’t managed a goal in their last 3 games, prior to that they got 2 at Huddersfield, beat Cardiff 1-0 and earned a point at the Riverside. I don’t think they can get the win here tonight, but they should get chances against an attacking Fulham side and will hopefully manage at least a goal.

Expecting an open game with chances for both teams, backing the overs here.

Prediction – Fulham 3-1 Blackpool

The Pick – Over 2.5 goals – 13/16 – 1.81

Tips at a glance:
