UFC 241 Previews

There are 2 big fights that I am excited about in Vegas tonight : Cormier vs Miopic and Diaz vs Pettis

Diaz vs Pettis

It is a mark of respect for Nate Diaz and his fanbase that he still commands placing as Co-main event. Given as he has almost 3 years to the day since his last fight, the points defat to Mcgregor

He should have gathered a fair amount of ring rust is expected and will be interesting to see how fit and the time out has changed him, although he has been coaching. Pettis has been much more active and although has not impressed me too much I’m leaning toward the fitter, more

active fighter. So I’m going to take Pettis @1.8 but 2.98 looks good for points as fancy it to go the distance where conditioning could prove the difference. #UFC241#diazpettis

Cormier vs Miocic

Again Cormier has been slightly the more active fighter (although not since early Nov), with Mioicic not fighting since Cormier defeated him by KO. Fancy it to be closer tonight, but Cormier is the current HW champion and one of the all time greats

Cormier has only lost to Jon Jones, another of the GOAT’s and can see his superior wrestling taking him to a successful defence. Although it is tempting to look at the longer odds for a decision, will plump for the Cormier win @1.81 #CormierMiocic
